In this session, we will discuss developing client and family relationships that facilitate the gathering of crucial, yet often painful information. We will review techniques for collecting clients’ stories in a way that promotes healing rather than re/traumatization. We will also explore how to work together as a team of zealous advocates using restorative principles to include approaching alleged victims, collateral witnesses, and the community at large.
